Third Convention
NCRI is constantly working towards building a strong network with Rural Institutes to harness their competencies for rural transformation. In pursuance of the same, the NCRI is trying to bring together all its stake-holders i.e. Rural Institutes (both, present and potential), and other institutions with similar objectives through a National Convention which will serve as a platform for knowledge-transfer, exchange of ideas and brainstorming on future plans of action in attaining our common and over-arching objectives.

Convention Report The 3rd national convention of rural institutes was scheduled to be held on 19th & 20th October, 2011, in Hyderabad. The event would also have seen the commemoration of the NCRI’s foundation day. However, due to the prevailing uncertainty in Hyderabad around the time, the venue had to be shifted to some other location. While options, and potential partner(s) to organise this event, were being explored, the Nehru Gram Bharti University, Allahabad (U.P.), came forward to help us. The North Central Zone of Cultural Centre (NCZCC), Allahabad, was chosen as the new venue, and 23rd & 24th November, 2011, were set as the dates of the event.
