Standing Committee on Basic Education

Standing Committee  shall consist of the Chairman and Six members nominated by the Governing Body.The Committee shall Identify suitable instituitions for recognition and support to elementary, Secondary and post-secondary instituitions based on the concept of Nai-Talim and make recommendations regarding grants to such instituitions By the council for their further development.

THE PLANNING BOARD:

The Planning Board Shall consist of the Chairman, two representatives of the Government of India , one representative of UGC and six members to be nominated by the Governing Body to:

Advice the council on the:

• Design and structure of the Programmes and the methods of instruction  in the rural institutes;

•  Establishment of new rural institutes;

• Principles for determination and disbursement of grants to rural institutes;

Monitor, review and evaluate the academic programmes offered by rural institutes; and

Provide any other guidance, assistance or advice to the council in achieving the objectives.
