Dr. Aram Learning Centre

Dr. Aram Learning Centre is conceived to encourage research and documentation for the use of researchers, experts and institutions. It is devoted to collection, documentation and dissemination of information to provide learning experiences drawn from case studies and success stories. This way the isolated success stories get a chance of replication elsewhere in the country. It is engaged in exchange of ideas between Universities and academic institutions, with an accent on finding creative solutions from the perspective of rural higher education.
The broad objectives of the centre are:

  1. Promoting Research by networking with Universities and institutions of national importance to collaborate for major research proposals  on community research, action research, Impact studies on projects of social relevance.
  2. Publications: Thematic publications, preparation of manuals  on the functioning of the various activity centres, publication of the proceedings of the seminars of conducted by NCRI, preparation of Annual Report on the activities of NCRI, etc.
  3. Documentation Activity: Documenting the Success stories of completed projects, case studies of the other Universities and institutes relevant to the activities of NCRI and documentation of the best practices adopted by Rural Institutes.
  4. Maintain a database of institutions and resource faculty.
